This is a scanned copy of the prevalence of water borne
diseases in Njia Panda,Himo,Kilimanjaro.
In regard to the low sanitation standards in poor countries
one would expect the prevalence of water borne diseases to be above zero on the
average. The data I have here however, presents something I did not expect. Could
it be that it is unrealistic especially as regards the steep value of Diarrhea
in comparison to dysentery and typhoid, how can you have diarrhea cases in the
thousands on one hand and then have zero cases of typhoid and dysentery on the
other all in the same settlement for three years continuosly? while logically all the diseases in question have more or less the same causatives.
