The unexpected re-use of subsidized mosquito nets

It is easy to dismiss the idea that a mosquito net too worn to do its intended work may find some other useful purpose, please don’t.These heavily subsidized mosquito nets made available by the global fund to fight aids tuberculosis and malaria as well as the president’s malaria initiative(PMI) are used again, after they can not keep mosquitoes away anymore,as fencing for vegetable gardens against poultry. It is important to maintain a household vegetable garden while it is also important to keep chicken, ducks etc. but the two projects do not mix as conveniently as one would wish. You naturally wouldn’t expect a family poor enough to rely on donated mosquito nets to afford a wire fencing for their gardens,a wire fencing is sixty times more expensive. The two funds above may therefore feel proud for serving two purposes at once!!
